The Tennessee Lady Vols are on their way to yet another NCAA national championship game, this time as defending champions. Alexis Hornbuckle made just one basket the entire game, but it couldn’t have come at a better time as she hit the game-winner with 0.7 seconds left on the clock to lift the Lady Vols over the LSU Lady Tigers, 47-46.

Tennessee seeks its eighth national title, while LSU heads home after losing their fourth-straight Final Four game. Candace Parker led the Vols with 13 points and 15 rebounds.  Sylvia Fowles was the top-scorer for the Tigers with 24, more than half the team’s total points. Tennessee will now face No. 2 seed Stanford after the Cardinal's upset the UConn Huskies yesterday, 82-73. (More NCAA basketball stories.)
