Cuba Gooding Jr. to Divorce High School Sweetheart

Cuba Gooding Jr. has filed to divorce wife Sara Kapfer after more than 22 years of marriage. TMZ reports the filing is a years-later response to Kapfer's own 2014 filing for legal separation. People reports that the two were high school sweethearts; they married in 1994 and have three children. Gooding is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their one minor child, a 10-year-old daughter, and he is willing to pay spousal support, though he wants to keep all his earnings from after the date Kapfer filed to separate.
