If you're already tired of winter, you should probably steer clear of North Dakota. The state is home to three of the four coldest cities in the country, according to 24/7 Wall St. The site ranked US cities based on the minimum average temperature as well as record low temperatures, annual snowfall, average wind speed, and the number of days temperatures dip below freezing. The top 10 coldest cities:

  1. Fairbanks, Alaska
  2. Grand Forks, ND
  3. Williston, ND
  4. Fargo, ND
  5. Duluth, Minn.
  6. Aberdeen, SD
  7. St. Cloud, Minn.
  8. Bismarck, ND
  9. Marquette, Mich.
  10. Huron, SD
