Controversy seems to be doing wonders for Ivanka Trump's fashion line. The company isn't providing numbers to back up its claims that February brought it "some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand," but e-commerce site Lyst reports that overall sales jumped 346% from January to February. That is the same month Nordstrom dropped the line, citing slugglish sales, which raised the ire of the president and some Nordstrom shoppers.

USA Today reports the Ivanka Trump brand catapulted from No. 550 on Lyst's ranking according to sales to No. 11 over that one-month period. "To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of," an exec from Lyst tells Refinery 29. The latter site says a cursory look around suggests the claim is on target, with online sales looking strong on everything from perfume to shoes. One example it gives: "Out of 134 pairs of Ivanka Trump shoes on sale at Zappos, 43 are tagged with a blue 'new' label, indicating that the site is still adding stock." (More Ivanka Trump stories.)
