"Edgy" NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show will feature the n-word, unedited, on an upcoming episode, Deadline reports. Creator and stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael says the racial slur will be used "like six times." The episode deals with the use of the word, and calling it the "n-word" would be "childish," Carmichael says: "We know what we’re talking about; we’re not speaking to children." Vulture notes that the show has already dealt with controversial topics including depression and The Cosby Show after Bill Cosby fell from grace. The show runs 9pm Eastern on Wednesdays, and the new season starts May 31. (More n-word stories.)
