(Newser) – The rumor mill had to add an extra shift early Thursday as news surfaced that Queen Elizabeth II had summoned her staff from across the UK to what news.com.au calls a "highly unusual emergency meeting" at Buckingham Palace. No details have been released on the reason why staff from as far away as the Queen's Scottish estate have been called to the meeting, but BBC royal correspondent Philip Hunt says it is not believed to be about the health of the 91-year-old monarch or that of Prince Philip, her 95-year-old husband.
