Anyone But Masters Leads at Augusta

Posted Apr 13, 08 10:12 AM CDT in Sports    Most Covered

(newser) – As Tiger Woods finds himself six strokes back going into today's concluding round of the Augusta Masters tournament, ESPN takes a look at the unlikely foursome at the top of the leaderboard. Trevor Immelman is four months removed from a hospital visit, Brandt Snedeker is practically still a rookie, Steve Flesch barely made the cut, and Paul Casey has never cracked sixth place in a Masters tourney.

With four relatively untested leaders ahead of him, Woods may still have a shot at a comeback, though gusty weather could complicate things. But Flesch is "looking at it like I have nothing to lose," and his neighbors on the big board could say the same. With Tiger's hopes of a grand slam dimming, anything could happen on the links today.
