Ex-Nanny Sues Lowe for Harassment

Posted Apr 16, 08 8:17 AM CDT in Arts & Living Crime & Courts Gossip

(Newser) – Just a week after actor Rob Lowe sued his former nanny over an alleged extortion attempt, she slapped back with a sex harassment lawsuit against him, reports E! Online. The 24-year-old claims in court papers that she was sexually assaulted, harassed, and beaten by Lowe and his wife during the seven years she worked for them. She told the Today show that she was afraid to leave.

"Her worst nightmare came true," said her lawyer. "She protested the sexual harassment and they came down on her with everything they have." Lowe said last week when he hit the nanny with a lawsuit for breach of confidentiality that she had demanded money to not release "a vicious laundry list of false terribles."
