CNN Star Busted With Drugs, Sex Toy in Park

Posted Apr 19, 08 4:07 PM CDT in Gossip Crime & Courts

(Newser) – When cops found Richard Quest in Central Park early yesterday morning, they first busted him for loitering past the park's closing time. Then they noticed that the CNN star had a rope tied from his neck to his genitals, drugs in his pocket, and a sex toy in his boot, the New York Post reports.

The officer spotted Quest and another, unidentified man at 3:40am, past the park’s 1 a.m. curfew. According to the criminal complaint, Quest said, “I’ve got some meth in my pocket.” Quest's lawyer said he was just "returning to his hotel with friends." Quest was later released without bail. A charge of possessing a controlled substance will be dropped once he completes a drug counseling program.
