Snow Day: Teacher Arrested for Allegedly Doing Coke at School
Samantha Cox   (Lake County Sheriff)

“When I actually watched the footage again and again and I just realized that my English teacher just did cocaine,” an Indiana high school student tells WGN. The junior took a video of his teacher, 24-year-old Samantha Cox, through the window of her locked classroom door at Lake Central High School in St. John on Wednesday morning; an hour later, school administrators called the police. The student who filmed the incident says the video showed Cox "hiding with ... what appears to be cocaine, putting it into lines."

The video was quickly passed around on social media by students, who also alerted the administration, WLS reports. “You’re told as a child to listen to them, respect them," one student says. "But it’s kinda hard to respect somebody who does cocaine in a classroom." Cox was arrested at the school and faces charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
