A-Rod Scores Baby-Rod No. 2

Posted Apr 23, 08 9:32 AM CDT in Sports Gossip

(Newser) – Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and his wife welcomed the birth of their second daughter Monday in Miami, People.com reports. The couple, who did not release the newborn's name, already has daughter Natasha, 3.

"We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives," the happy father said in a statement. The 7lb, 2 oz tyke's arrival couldn't be more timely—dad's been benched to recover from a strained quadricep.
