Ivana Trump says President Trump should do something with presidential terms that he didn't do with wives: stick with just one. In a wide-ranging interview with Page Six, the president's first wife says she doesn't think "it's necessary" for her ex-husband to run for re-election in 2020 and he should "just go and play golf and enjoy his fortune." Ivana, mother of Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka, divorced Trump in 1992 after 15 years of marriage when she discovered his affair with Marla Maples, who became his second wife. She says she's glad it is third wife Melania, not her, who is dealing with the pressure of White House life. "I like to do what I want to do and like to go wherever I want to go with whomever I want to go," she says.

Ivana says she feels sorry for Melania over the Stormy Daniels affair, because she knows how bad it feels. "I have pride and I have dignity and stuff like that, but so many women, around the world, they live with the men knowing that they are cheating and stuff like that," she says. Continuing on what the Washington Post calls the "backhanded-compliment train," she says the only reason Melania hasn't been on more magazine covers is because she isn't a talker. Ivana says she doesn't have much sympathy for Daniels because she "is not playing a fair game" and is "paid to strip." She says she is "very sad" about Donald Jr.'s divorce from Vanessa, but she thinks her son will have an easier time finding a new partner, because "who is going to date and marry the woman who has five children?"
