(Whom) Will Edwards Endorse?

Posted Apr 28, 08 5:11 PM CDT in Politics

(Newser) – With the North Carolina primary 1 week away, speculation surrounds John and Elizabeth Edwards, the New York Times reports. The ex-senator may endorse a candidate before the vote, may wait to see how his home state votes—or may sit out the race entirely. What's more, the couple may split along gender lines.

Said one close friend, “He thinks very highly of both senators Clinton and Obama, and I do not think he is inclined to spend the next three months engaged in the small politics of who’s the better bowler or beer drinker."
