While President Trump criticized Germany as "captive to Russia" during a NATO breakfast this week, multiple news outlets pointed out that chief of staff John Kelly didn't look like he was having a great time, reports USA Today. As the Washington Post notes, Kelly pursed his lips and shifted his position while Trump was speaking (the story includes video of it). The newspaper even talks to body-language experts who say Kelly seemed annoyed. So what gives? White House press chief Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Kelly was indeed irritated, though not at Trump. The explanation? He "was displeased because he was expecting a full breakfast and there were only pastries and cheese." (More John Kelly stories.)
