Selma Blair has publicly revealed a medical drama that's been playing out in her personal life. In an emotional Instagram post, the Legally Blonde actress wrote that she was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. “I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS," she wrote, per the Guardian. "But we are doing it. And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best."

Blair, who is set to co-star in upcoming Netflix sci-fi drama Another Life, thanked producers at the streaming service for their understanding. As the Hollywood Reporter notes, Blair also thanked fellow actress Elizabeth Berkley for convincing her to see Berkley's neurologist brother, who made the diagnosis. (While there's is no cure for the disease, a breakthrough treatment was approved last year.)
