Alas, David Schwimmer didn't steal a case of beer in England after all—or so police are saying, CNN reports. "Could we BE any more overwhelmed with the response to our CCTV appeal about a theft at a restaurant in Blackpool?" police tweeted Thursday. "Most importantly, we're now satisfied we've identified the man" who took the beer, although "our enquiries are very much continuing." Schwimmer, who resembled the beer thief, tweeted a look-a-like video of himself lugging a beer case as evidence it wasn't him. The box of 20 cans was taken from a Blackpool restaurant September 20, notes Sky News. (See amusing Facebook posts about the suds heist.)
