The controversy of Pete Davidson's week past reared its head on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, with the actor making an appearance on Weekend Update to apologize for making fun of a congressman-elect who lost an eye in war. "The man is a war hero and he deserves all the respect in the world," Davidson before delivering a healthy dose of self-deprecation. Lt. Com. Dan Crenshaw himself then rolled out to pile on with an Ariana Grande ringtone, adds NPR, as well as a few zingers of his own: "He looks like if the meth from Breaking Bad was a person." Jokes aside, Crenshaw then again took the high road. Other highlights included Robert De Niro returning as Robert Mueller for the Cold Open as Kate McKinnon played Jeff Sessions packing up his office. Liev Schreiber guest-hosted, while Lil Wayne was musical guest. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
