Worried residents of Milton, West Virginia, called police about raccoons that looked for all the world like they were rabid. Turns out, they were just drunk, reports Gizmodo. In a Facebook post, the local police department explains that the raccoons apparently got into some fermented crabapples. Officers corralled two of the "staggering and disoriented" critters before releasing them back into the woods to sober up. (Raccoons aren't the only animals known to get tipsy in public.)
