An Atlanta Braves fan died after plummeting from the upper deck at Atlanta’s Turner Field, WSBTV.com reports. The 25-year-old man fell to the field-level concourse behind home plate during the bottom of the 8th inning in last night’s game against the New York Mets, a police rep said; he was pronounced dead at a hospital soon afterward. Cole Hamels pitched his first career shutout, Ryan Howard homered and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 5-0 last night. Pedro Feliz and Shane Victorino also homered and drove in two runs each for Philly, who lead the majors with 59 homers.
