With the trial of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman underway, all eyes north and south of the border are on the notorious Sinaloa drug cartel leader. Well, maybe not all eyes. Per the New York Post, someone may have spotted El Chapo's beauty queen wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, with some contraband in the Brooklyn courtroom where Guzman is accused of heading up a bloodthirsty cocaine smuggling operation, per the AP. The Post reports that prosecutors informed the court that Aispuro was seen with a cellphone and asked that she be passed through metal detectors a second time on Monday. Like all members of the public and media, 29-year-old Aispuro has been expected to leave her electronics with security before entering the courtroom. (She's been in the courtroom every day since the trial began, but the two reportedly have not been allowed to hug.)
