"Everyone" has weighed in, and they've told Digg what the best songs of 2018 are. The site confesses it didn't use a "super fancy algorithm" to figure out what tunes were resonating with the people at large. Instead, a "human Digg Editor" pored over a spreadsheet of other "best of 2018" song lists, assigned a points system to the top choices, then winnowed things down to come up with Digg's own list. The No. 1 song for 2018: Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next," which Vulture calls "the anthem 2018 deserves." Read on for the rest:

  1. "Thank U, Next," Ariana Grande
  2. "Love It If We Made It," The 1975
  3. "I Like It," Cardi B
  4. "This Is America," Childish Gambino
  5. "Shallow," Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
  6. "Make Me Feel," Janelle Monae
  7. "Sicko Mode," Travis Scott
  8. "Honey," Robyn
  9. "No Tears Left to Cry," Ariana Grande
  10. "Nice for What," Drake
