Sundance Abuzz With Bug Porn

Posted May 11, 08 1:35 PM CDT in Science & Health Arts & Living

(Newser) – For those unclear about the birds and the bees (the actual ones), the Sundance Channel is screening “green porno videos” on its website, reports Mother Jones blogger Jen Phillips. The series features Isabella Rossellini, breaking out of her usual indie cocoon, carrying out the mating rituals of the snail, bee, and praying mantis, among others.

"Lest you think green porn means watching Laurie David and Al Gore getting hot and heavy whilst discussing the Kyoto Protocol," Phillips exhales, "it's not." Added a series director to Wired, "Seeing Isabella Rossellini mount a housefly from behind while smiling at the camera, I can't imagine many people would have ever thought they’d see that."
