Lohan Bender Spurs Underage Drinking Probe

(Newser) – Lindsay Lohan's recent DUI arrest has prompted talk about cracking down on underage boozing in Hollywood.The state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is preparing to investigate the Mean Girls starlet's case—the ABC has to wait for police to release evidence that the 20-year-old did, indeed, test positive for alcohol.

And the watchdog agency has already demanded a 15-day shutdown of Mood after photos surfaced earlier of her partying at the club. An attorney for Mood blamed the underage carousing on fake IDs and bad parenting. But as longtime Hollywood showman and unofficial mayor Johnny Grant laments, "It's kind of hard when your youngster is bringing in as much money as a Lindsay Lohan."
