One of the lighter moments in President Trump's State of the Union address Tuesday came when he was lauding the role of women in the economy and in politics—and many of the female lawmakers, including Democrats, stood and cheered. "You weren't supposed to do that," Trump joked, per CNN. "Thank you very much. All Americans can be proud that we have more women in the workforce than ever before." The president then told the women they should remain standing for his next line: "You're going to like this. And exactly one century after Congress passed the constitutional amendment giving women the right to vote, we also have more women serving in Congress than at any time," he said. At that, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stood and applauded, too. (More State of the Union address stories.)
