Posted May 11, 08 5:34 PM CDT in Arts & Living

(Newser) – If an ounce of mom is worth a pound of clergy, as they say, these mothers would topple the scales. Time lists its all-time worst moms:

  1. Mom on Futurama: for bringing her cut-throat business sense home
  2. Mother in The Wall: for making Pink a baby forever
  3. Mrs. Robinson: for not backing off after bedding poor Dustin

  1. Hamlet's Gertrude: for being two-faced
  2. Philip Roth's Sophie Portnoy: for flirting with her son
  3. Livia Soprano: for being so power-hungry
  4. Medea: for killing her kids
