Mega-Brand Rollout Revives Ol' Blue Eyes

Posted May 11, 08 2:59 PM CDT in Arts & Living

(Newser) – Ol' Blue Eyes is still doing it his way—or his heirs' way, to be more precise. Frank Sinatra's family has inked a deal with Warner Music Group to ensure the singer's return on the 10th anniversary of his death: A postage stamp and new CD and DVD collections are coming out, as is a digital resurrection of the Pack Master turned ad pitchman, the Los Angeles Times reports.

"There is a lot of interest, and the hard part is deciding what is right and what is wrong," said Tina Sinatra, the crooner's youngest daughter. "But people remain fascinated by Dad. The truth is that his image and his cachet has sustained and perpetuated him just as much as his incredible talent. He is handed from one generation to the next."
