People who dig in to a microwavable meal of Chef Boyardee chicken might be surprised to find beef instead. That mislabelling is part of the reason parent company Conagra is recalling about 3,000 pounds of products labeled "Chef Boyardee rice with chicken & vegetables," reports CBS News. Affected are 7.5-ounce bowls with a package code of 210090151050045L and a "best by" date of July 8, 2020. Turns out, those packages have beef ravioli, not chicken and rice. But the USDA also is worried about a health concern: The meals might contain milk and wheat, allergens that are not on the label. (More product recall stories.)
