The teen accused of pushing her friend off a Washington state bridge in August pleaded guilty Monday to reckless endangerment. Taylor Smith, 19, originally pleaded not guilty, but was offered a plea deal last month, NBC News reports. A state prosecutor recommended no jail time when she is sentenced March 27. Jordan Holgerson, 16, suffered punctured lungs and six broken ribs in the 60-foot fall into a popular swimming area; she has said she originally planned to jump from the bridge but had changed her mind when Smith pushed her. The incident was captured on cellphone video and went viral. Holgerson and her mother were in court Monday; her mother said she now suffers from anxiety and gets physical therapy for an injured shoulder. (Both teens have spoken publicly; more on the case here.)
