As the WWE was putting on its Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night, it was besieged by a very WWE moment: A spectator ran into the ring and tackled Bret "the Hitman" Hart as he was giving a speech at the Barclays Center, reports the AP. CNN identifies the man as 26-year-old Zachary Madsen, who was in turn tackled by wrestling stars including Shane McMahon, Xavier Woods, Tyson Kidd, and Curtis Axel, as well as UFC heavyweight Travis Browne. Hart was uninjured and continued on with his speech after the melee, though CNN notes Madsen managed to injure a guard who helped subdue him. The NYPD has charged Madsen with two counts of third-degree assault, criminal trespass, and one other misdemeanor. (More WWE stories.)
