Hillary's Been 'Denigrated,' Says Bill; Also, I Shoulda Shut Up

Posted May 22, 08 2:20 PM CDT in Politics

(Newser) – Hillary Clinton has been “dismissed, denigrated, declared dead” by a press corps in her rival’s pocket, Bill dishes to People. The first spouse wannabe says bias has been such that “I thought I was literally lost in a fun house.” Still, he partly faults himself for his wife’s fortunes, CNN reports, regretting that he spoke “late at night...'cause if you are tired or angry, you shouldn’t be talking.”

The former prez also blasts accusations of race card use (“cold-blooded…revolting”) and refuses to say he likes Obama (“I think I understand him”). But he turns soft when discussing his only child on the campaign trail: "If you had asked me this before Iowa, I would have said ‘No way. She is too allergic to anything we do.' But she is really good at it.”
