Britain's Ch. 4 turned down a plea from Princes William and Harry to excise footage of the crash that killed Princess Diana from a documentary that will be shown this week. Instead, the channel will air a program that debates the issues raised by the decision.

Broadcasters were quick to point out that the victims of the crash won't be seen—though EMS personnel working on them inside the car are visible—and that several of the controversial images have already been shown  on the BBC.The debate show is part of the channel's new strategy of addressing concerns about programs on air, sparked by the Celebrity Big Brother racism controversy.
