Canada's foreign affairs minister has been forced to resign because he left NATO summit briefing documents at the home of his former girlfriend. Maxime Bernier was already under fire for his just-dumped lover's connection to Quebec biker gangs, and his resignation follows other embarrassing revelations that have plagued the Canadian government, reports the Ottawa Citizen.

"This is a grave mistake. We're always expecting the ministers to keep secret classified documents, government documents," said Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. "I'm very disappointed for the government, disappointed for Maxime. It is very unfortunate." (More Maxime Bernier stories.)
