Witness: I Had Threesomes With Kelly, Girl

Defense accuses her of extortion, theft, lying; prosecution rests

(Newser) – A key witness in R. Kelly's child porn trial told the court yesterday how the singer on three occasions videotaped himself having threesomes with her and a girl then believed to be 13, reports the Chicago Tribune. Lisa Van Allen, now 27, believes the sex tape at the heart of the case was made in 1998 when she had sex with the two, "as they both looked exactly the same way."

Kelly's defense tried to discredit Van Allen, noting that she once stole a $20,000 watch from the singer, and asking her whether she had demanded $350,000 from the singer for a similar sex tape. Van Allen admitted selling a tape to Kelly last year for $20,000, but characterized the payment as gratitude. "I didn't try to extort anyone," she said.
