Sulu to Stun Kirk With Wedding Snub

Posted Jun 5, 08 4:22 AM CDT in Gossip

(Newser) – Captain Kirk won't be beaming down to join his Enterprise shipmates at Mr. Sulu's wedding, reports the New York Post. Actor George Takei, who's marrying his long-term boyfriend in September, plans to have Walter Koenig (Chekov) as best man and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) as matron of honor, and Spock (Leonard  Nimoy) is invited—but doubts there'll be room on the guest list for William Shatner, whose treatment of co-stars Takei has often slammed.
