(Newser) – As a cokehead-dating addict who, among other things, got shot by carjackers, burned in a house fire, and suffered amnesia, Kelly Taylor of "Beverly Hills, 90210" is the gold standard of TV victims. 1. Meredith Grey, "Grey's Anatomy": Abandoned by her alcoholic father, cursed by a suicidal and Alzheimer's-riddled mother, Grey's loving stepmom died while in her care. Kellyness: 8

  1. Peyton Sawyer, "One Tree Hill": Dead parents? You bet! Wounded during a school massacre and stalked by a faux half-brother, Sawyer also had to share scenes with Kevin Federline. Kellyness: 9
  2. Kate Austen, "Lost": Held hostage, imprisoned in a bamboo cage; Austen's mom tried to have her arrested for blowing up dad. Kellyness: 5
