(Newser) – Lose the power tools and the landscaping implements this Father's Day, ABC News suggests. The kind of cutting edge Dad really wants can't be found at the hardware store. Among them:

  • For dads who want media at their fingertips, the enV2 by LG hosts music and video via V CAST and sports a QWERTY keyboard for only $129, with a phone contract.

  • The film-obsessed father can wire his television directly to VUDU's vast bank of pay-as-you-go movies and TV shows with a $295 set-top box.
  • AT&T Mobile TV on the LG VU phone can have Pops watching television and movies on AT&T's 3G platform for $299 plus a monthly charge.
  • For $100, Dad could be watching movies on-demand with his Netflix Player from Roku.
