French Protect Brangelina With Trickery

Posted Jun 19, 08 11:50 AM CDT in Arts & Living Gossip

(Newser) – As the quiet French town where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have relocated has transformed into a paparazzi feeding frenzy, villagers are supplying the bait. Bemused by the hoopla, the mischievous Correns natives are feeding the media bogus stories—or so they tell Reuters—with a prize for anyone whose scoop makes it into print.

"They came here to find some peace, and instead there are paparazzi at the gate day and night. It's really unbearable. There are always five or six motorbikes and cars ready to launch into a chase," sympathizes a local winemaker.
