New studies of the humble watermelon show it may pack a Viagra-like effect on men's blood vessels and increase libido. Watermelons are a primary source of the nutrient citrulline, which helps relax blood vessels, increasing blood flow in the body in much the same way Viagra does and with similar results, reports Science Daily.

“The more we study watermelons, the more we realize how amazing a fruit it is, providing natural enhancers to the human body,” said one of the researchers. “We’ve always known that watermelon is good for you, but the list of its important healthful benefits grows longer with each study.” (More watermelon stories.)
