(Newser) – The McCain camp borrowed a page from its rivals today with a new tack on Barack Obama: He looks a whole lot like George W. Bush. McCain's national security adviser took Obama to task for the rigidity of his Iraq strategy, the Huffington Post reports. "I think the American people have had enough of stubbornness and inflexibility in national security policy,” said Randy Scheunemann.

"We cannot afford to replace one administration that refused to acknowledge failure with a candidate that refuses to acknowledge success in Iraq," he said. The Post notes that McCain aides skewered Obama earlier this month when he suggested he would "refine" his Iraq strategy after talking with US generals. But now they say he's sticking to his "strict ideological timetable" to "please the crowd at MoveOn.org."
