Woman Sues Spitzer Call Girl in ID Theft

Posted Jul 18, 08 5:59 AM CDT in Crime & Courts US

(Newser) – A New Jersey woman has filed a federal lawsuit against Ashley Dupre—better known as Eliot Spitzer's high-priced call girl—and Girls Gone Wild for defamation and invasion of privacy for Dupre's use of the woman's lost driver's license on the raunchy program.

Dupre, who was underage at the time, allegedly presented the woman's license as her own to prove she was over 18. A closeup of the ID was aired on the party video. Dupre recently dropped a $10 million lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild, claiming her name and image were exploited by the program, which she appeared in as a minor.
