Alex Rodriguez has signed up with the William Morris Agency, the Wall Street Journal reports, as Hollywood's biggest talent agencies look to draft major sports stars onto their rosters. Rodriguez will join clients like Quentin Tarantino and Eminem at William Morris, along with sports figures such as Serena Williams, Dwyane Wade, and Kevin Garnett.

A-Rod gets baseball's biggest paycheck, but his endorsements lag behind that of superstars like Tiger Woods, who will swing $100 million from sponsors this year. Lurid headlines may have tarnished the A-Rod brand recently, but the agency plans to polish and pitch it to sponsors. A-Rod has "asked us to look for opportunities with corporations which will last for many, many years," an agency veep said. "He is very focused on his life after baseball."
