(NEWSER) - Casey Kotchman's solo home run put Los Angeles ahead in the sixth inning, Gary Matthews Jr. hit two solo homers of his own and the Angels snapped the Boston Red Sox's six-game winning streak with a 6-4 victory Wednesday night. As Braves beat Los Angeles 6-1

(NEWSER) - Jair Jurrjens pitched three-hit ball for seven innings, Mark Teixeira homered and the Atlanta Braves beat Los Angeles 6-1 Sunday for their first sweep of the Dodgers in eight years. The Braves gave up a total of only three runs in defeating the Dodgers three times. Atlanta's last sweep over Los Angeles came in a three-game set in April 2000. More»
