'Bigfoot' Reported in Canada

'Sasquatch-like creature' startles berrypickers in woods

(Newser) – A family out picking berries in northern Ontario claims they caught sight of a creature they believe was the mythical man-like ape "Bigfoot," the Ottawa Citizen reports. The 8-foot tall furry black creature disappeared into the woods when it spotted them, they recounted. The Canadians searched the area and took a plaster cast of a print from an extremely big foot.

"It's got six toes and a giant heel," a family member said of the footprint as big as a large pizza box. Other area residents have reported seeing a sasquatch-like creature, but researchers have yet to discover concrete evidence of such an animal. British Scientists are now doing DNA tests on mysterious hairs believed to be from a large, elusive ape-like creature reportedly spotted in India.
