(Newser) – In the first operation of its kind, doctors have performed a double arm transplant on a German farmer, CNN reports. The 54-year-old man lost both arms in a farming accident 6 years ago. His condition is "very good under the circumstances," said a statement from the Munich hospital where the operation was carried out last week by a surgical team of 40.
