(Newser) – Soul legend Isaac Hayes, found unconscious next to a treadmill at his Memphis home Sunday, died from a  massive stroke brought on by chronic hypertension, according to his family doctor. A public memorial service for the 65-year-old singer will be held next week, reports E! Online. "We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support," said a family statement. "We will ever miss his love, wisdom and the familiar comfort of his voice."
