Rough Diamond Offers Refunds for Concert

Singer apologizes when raspy voice ruins Ohio performance

(Newser) – Singer Neil Diamond is offering fans a full refund for a raspy-voiced Ohio concert, reports the Columbus Dispatchs. Several fans were angry when the crooner croaked his way through the Ohio State University gig Monday night. Diamond, 67, posted a message on his website asking for fans’ forgiveness. He has been diagnosed with acute laryngitis and has canceled his next two concerts.
