(NEWSER) - Predators is getting mostly decent reviews as a sequel to the alien-hunting-humans original, 1987's Predator. Adrien Brody stars.

Andrew Garfield will play Peter Parker in 2012 reboot

(NEWSER) - Andrew Garfield has been chosen to play Spider-Man in the sequel that will reboot the franchise in 2012, Zap2it reports. Garfield, 26, who appeared most recently in Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, beat out actors like Jamie Bell, Logan Lerman, and Josh Hutcherson in a grueling casting process. (NEWSER) - Important things vanish in movies all the time—ghosts, ninjas, starlets' clothing. But what happens to important props that may have aftermarket value? Quite often, they go missing. Mental Floss lists seven iconic movie props that mysteriously disappeared:

• The Easy Rider motorcycle: Two copies of each bike in the counterculture classic existed, but three of the four were stolen and presumably sold for parts. Peter Fonda's Captain America model survived and is at the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa.
