Calif. Man in Hot Water for Burglary

Posted Sep 8, 08 11:58 AM CDT in Crime & Courts

(Newser) – Police grilled a Fresno, Calif., man who was foiled after he decided to spice things up a bit during a home break-in, the Fresno Bee reports. His sleeping victims said they awoke to find him hitting one with a sausage and rubbing seasonings on the other. The alleged perpetrator, 22, was found in his underwear in a nearby field. He’d thrown away the sausage, and a passing dog ate the incriminating evidence.
