A burning Jeep Cherokee was driven at high speed into the main terminal building at the Glasgow airport today. Two men in the vehicle, described as Asian, survived the crash and were taken into custody, the BBC reports. The airport was evacuated and all flights were suspended.

Witnesses told the BBC the crash appeared to be a deliberate attack, but authorities said  the incident was not being treated as a national security threat. The green SUV, which did not explode, hit security barriers in front to the terminal's glass doors, and two men jumped out, one in flames. The vehicle did not explode. (More Glasgow stories.)
