(Newser) – Newspapers and TV shows like The View are out of sync with the average American’s political beliefs, wannabe first lady Cindy McCain has declared. She blasted the media the day after she and hubby John McCain were grilled on The View about misleading campaign ads and the undisclosed number of homes the McCains own, reports ABC.

“They picked our bones clean,” she said. "In spite of what you see in the newspapers, and on shows like The View, that's not what the American people are saying and what they are believing. They are now seeing a clear difference with these candidates. And that's why we're pulling ahead."
